Community Support

Wednesdays at Woodlupine – Community Lunch
Join us every Wednesday from 12:30pm to 2:00pm for our Wednesdays at Woodlupine Community Lunch. Enjoy a light, nourishing meal while connecting with others and building supportive relationships in a welcoming environment that encourages social, emotional, and community wellbeing.
Each week, a guest speaker presents on topics related to health, wellbeing, local services, and community initiatives. Sessions may explore ways to improve personal and family wellbeing, access support networks, understand local resources, or engage in activities that promote a healthier, more connected lifestyle.
This weekly gathering provides a safe and inclusive space to learn, share, and strengthen your sense of community.
We invite you to join us, bring along friends or family, and take part in a meaningful afternoon focused on connection, learning, and community health.

Community Support and Referrals
We provide guidance and referrals to help you access the support you need. Whether you’re seeking child development services, food relief, parenting support, or connections to other local community organisations, we’re here to help you navigate the resources available to you and your family.
Each Wednesday, the Foodbank Van visits our Centre from 1:00pm to 1:30pm, offering the community access to low-cost or free food items. This service is available to anyone in need, and we’re happy to assist with the referral process just contact us for support.
Our aim is to ensure you and your family can access practical assistance, build meaningful connections, and feel supported every step of the way.

Support and Interest Groups
We are proud to host a diverse range of warm and welcoming groups that bring our Centre to life. Many of these programs are peer-led or facilitated by independent community organisers, each offering their own unique focus, strengths, and lived experience. While these groups operate independently, Woodlupine Family Centre is pleased to provide a safe, inclusive, and accessible space for them to meet and connect.
Our current groups include the Make it Special Carers Support Group, Les Petites Grenouilles French Playgroup, Cuppa and Craft, Roads to Recovery Addiction Support, Australian Breastfeeding Association sessions, Living Bread Spiritual Group, and Toddler Dance Time. Together, they create a vibrant mix of practical support, creative activities, cultural learning, and family-friendly fun.
Whether you’re seeking guidance during a challenging period, a space to meet other families, a creative outlet, or simply a friendly environment, you’ll find something here to support your wellbeing.
We invite you to explore the full range of programs available. Please refer to our Term Plan for session times and direct contact information for each organiser.
At Woodlupine Family Centre, our commitment is to provide a welcoming place where individuals and families can come together, feel supported, and continue building connections while each group independently leads and shapes its own journey.
